Chef Maribeth started her culinary career in San Diego, California, under the tutelage of Chef Deborah Scott at Kemo Sabe. After moving to New Orleans with her husband Alex, she began cooking at Emeril’s flagship restaurant and eventually became the national sales manager for Lagasse’s restaurant company. In 2010 the Del Castillos launched Taceaux Loceaux, a gourmet taco truck that earned a following for its creative street fare. The expanded menu of inventive Mexican cuisine at their bricks and mortar restaurant in Uptown New Orleans reflects Chef Maribeth’s lifelong passion for food.
